Seated Calf Exercises
The first step in using this machine is
to decide the amount of weight you would like to use and place it on the
weight holder. Start off with lighter weights and more repetitions, then
work up to heavier weights. Seat yourself comfortably in the seat pad,
place the balls of your feet on the foot pad, and adjust the leg pad to
the proper height with the pull-pin knob keeping the pad firmly on your
legs a few inches above your knee. Lift up on the balls of your feet to
release the weight and move the catch lever out of the way to the right.
Lower your feet back down. Now you're ready to begin your exercise.
Raise the weight up as high as possible, hold for a few seconds, then
return to the starting position. Repeat this movement until your set is
complete.
